The present invention relates to a label comprising a non-volatile memory and bidirectional electro-optical outwardly-directed transmission means. Said label is fitted in a support having its own electronic functions, e.g. a watch or an electronic calculator. By creating interactions by means of a linking circuit between the electronic functions of the support and the label's own functions, the performance of both can be improved and it is even possible to add further functions like automatically setting the time or updating exchange rates in the calculator.
