Method of lining the internal surface of a pipe

To line the internal surface of a pipe (111,60) which has a first portion connected to a second portion (62) of larger diameter, first and second pigs (63,64) with a quantity of resin between them are introduced into the first portion of the pipe and positive pressure is applied behind the rearmost pig to force the pigs and the resin along the length of the pipe to line the internal surface of the pipe. The front pig (63) is of resilient material and is compressed as it is passed through the pipe. This pig has surface grooves on it to permit air to pass between it and the surface of the pipe when it is in the second portion of the pipe.
