<p>PURPOSE:To easily and accurately measure heat conductivity by determining the function showing the relation between the upper surface temp. and heat conductivity of a sample from a measured value and calculating the heat conductivity at arbitrary measuring temp. on the basis of said function by operation. CONSTITUTION:In such a state that the under surface temp. To of a sample is held to constant temp. sufficiently lower than measuring temp. T, the upper surface temp. Tm of the sample is set to temp. sufficiently higher than the under surface temp. To and successively altered to measure the heat conductivities lambdam of the sample in the respective states two or more times and, from these measured values, the function showing the relation between the upper surface temp. Tm and heat conductivity lambdam of the sample in such a state that the under surface temp. To of the sample is kept constant is determined and, on the basis of said function, the heat conductivity lambda in such a state that the internal temp. of the sample is the measuring temp.
