PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable platinum group elements to be separated and recycled at high yields and high purity by employing a process for producing an anion nitro complex, a process for causing selective adsorption of platinum group elements in a nitric acid to an anion nitro complex, and the like. SOLUTION: In a process for producing an anion nitro complex, a reagent containing NO2 <-> ions is added to a processing solution whose nitric acid concentration has been adjusted, to produce a nitro complex of platinum group ions in the solution. In an adsorption process, the solution obtained by the process of adjusting the processing solution is brought into contact with an ion exchange resin, so that only Ru, Rh, and Pd in the solution are made to adsorb to the resin, shift from solution phase to resin phase, and separate from other elements in the solution. In an elution recycling process, the Ru, Rh, and Pd adsorbed to the anion exchange resin through the adsorption process are eluted and recycled. Thus rare platinum group elements are recycled to ensure that they are stably supplied. Also, the radioactivity level of waste liquids can be reduced through the enhancement of performance regarding the process of disposing of reprocessing facility wastes.
|
