PURPOSE:To discharge a nipped paper into a feeding part by drive-revolving a taking-in roller and a gate roller in the reverse direction to the taking-in direction, when the paper is nipped in a taking-in part between the both rollers. CONSTITUTION:When a bank note P is not taken in, because of the generation of slip between taking-in rollers 5 and 5, even if the taking-in rollers 5 and 5 continue normal revolution, or the taking-in operation is to be once suspended and the bank note P is to be taken out from a taking-in part, a motor 6 is reversely driven to revolve a roller shaft 21 for taking-in in the reverse direction through a detent mechanism 28. Then, gate rollers 8 and 8 revolve in the reverse direction to the hank note P taking-in direction, i.e., in the normal direction, through a small gear 34. Further, since the outer peripheral speed of each gate roller 8, 8 is equal to that of the taking-in rollers 5 and 5, and no slip is generated for the bank note P nipped between the both rollers 8, 8 and 5, 5, the bank note can be discharged onto a floor by a large transporting force. |
