PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reflect early a content of program revision on an electronic program guide conducted by a receiver side and allow the receiver side to make video recording reservation in response to the revision of a broadcast content by allowing the transmitter side to send the revision of the broadcast content as quickly as possible to the receiver side. SOLUTION: Usual electronic program guide data are inserted to a Line 10 for a vertical blanking period of a video signal and only revised information data are sent by a Line 11. Then a receiver side equipment searches the Line 11 in a prescribed time before reservation video recording start to obtain revision information and to rewrite possessed electronic program guide data and the succeeding video recording is executed based on video recording reservation setting data revised based on the newly rewritten electronic program guide data.
