PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an amplifier from electrostatic discharge and an overvoltage without remarkable deterioration in a band width, without increas ing noise or a voltage standing wave ratio and without providing adverse effect on the power consumption of the entire circuit in the amplifier circuit having a signal limiter. SOLUTION: An input signal from an input signal source V INPUT with a characteristic impedance is given to a noninverting input terminal of an amplifier A1 with a prescribed band width range via a transmission line T1 and a signal limiting diode bridge consisting of diodes D1-D4. Furthermore, the input signal is fed to an inverting input terminal of the amplifier A1 via a capacitor C1. An offset voltage V OFFSET is applied to the inverting input terminal of the amplifier via an inductor L3 and a resistor R1. |
