PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooking utensil which surely stops carrying of a current and prevents previously abnormal heating, in the case of generating abnormal action in a control means. SOLUTION: This cooking utensil comprises an inverter part heating a load, control means 9 controlling heating of the load and its temperature, abnormality decision means 10 deciding abnormality of the control means 9 and a current carrying power setting means 11 setting heating current carrying power of the inverter part by an output of the control means 9. Here, in the abnormality decision means 10, when an abnormal action condition of an action discriminating periodic signal output by the control means 9 is detected, abnormality decision is output by the control means 9, in the current carrying power setting means 11, when an output of the abnormality decision of the abnormality decision means 10 is received, the inverter part is current carrying-stopped, in the case that the control means 9 outputs an abnormal action condition of the action discriminating periodic signal, regardless of an action condition of the control means 9, heating current carrying in the inverter part is placed in a stop condition. |
