DRIVING DEVICE FOR BICYCLES

The driving device is designed for bicycles. It automatically changes the speed in a steplees manner without inperrupting the force flow, having improved reliability. The device consists of a chain transmission (1) with a chain (2) connecting a sprocket of the driving wheel (4) of the bicycle and resting on a second sprocket resting on a frame (5) of the bicycle, connected to pedals (7 & 14). The sprocket (6) rests by means of a cassette (8) including conical planetary gears (10 & 11) having shafts (12 & 13) with cranks (17 & 19) connected to them to which the pedals (7 & 14) are mounted. A connector (15) with a reswitching pin (16) is designed between the shafts (12 & 13). Pedals (7 & 14) have upper spacers (18) for the shoes of the rider and centre of gravity which is under their suspension axis.
