PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device which can mitigate a large force eventually applied to a press knob, drive the switch properly without risk of damaging, is embodied in a thin structure in itself or the whole device incorporating it, and can easily be installed. SOLUTION: A knob upper return spring 40 and a switch drive spring 41 are concentrically put in frictional engagement with a sharp angle shape spring retention part 14 equipped with a forward thinning tapered dangling at the undersurface of a press knob 1 wherein a common space is occupied by the two springs, and the press knob 1 is engaged by a receptacle part (fixing member). A spring retention part to put the knob upper return spring 40 and the switch drive 41 in frictional retention is furnished on the undersurface of the press knob 1 in a cylindrical shape having a pressing part, and a spring holder 50 equipped with a guide hole 51 to guide the drive spring is installed to hold the under-part of the return spring. The inside surface of the press knob 1 is put in slide contact with the peripheral surface of the spring holder 50 so that sliding of the press knob 1 at switch operation is guided. |
