PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output stage for an operational amplifier swingable close to a power supply voltage and having a low output impedance. SOLUTION: The output stage for an operational amplifier energized by a 1st supply voltage conductor 102 and a 2nd supply voltage conductor 104 is provided with a buffer 100 and a current booster 500 to amplify an input voltage 105 to output signals 117, 520 with a low impedance. When the input voltage 105 is within a buffer voltage range 210, the buffer 100 amplifies the input voltage 105 to amplify output signals 117, 520 and the buffer voltage range 210 is included within a maximum voltage range 208. The current booster 500 assists the buffer 100 to amplify the input voltage 105 to the output signals 117, 500 when the input voltage 105 is at the outside of the buffer voltage range 210 and within the maximum voltage range 208. |
