PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make even a person without knowledge relating to the color use of a color document able to surely and efficiently prepare the color document of appropriate color use considering the background. SOLUTION: When a specifying part 1 specifies the background or a document constituting element to set a color, a color acquisition part 5 acquires the color data of the background or the document constituting element, an attribute acquisition part 3 acquires the attributes of the document constituting element on the background or the background under the document constituting element and a candidate color acquisition part 4 acquires the color data for satisfying the attributes. A difference computing part 6 computes a difference between the color data of the specified background or document constituting element and the color data acquired by the candidate color acquisition part 4 and a list part 7 lists up the color data acquired by the candidate color acquisition part 4 in the descending order of the difference. A control part C displays the listed-up color data at a display part 2, and by the selection of the color data by a user, the selected color data are set as the color data of the selected background or document constituting element. |
