<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operation with one hand while securing a large area for a display device by providing a display means for displaying information and an input means provided on a plane on the opposite side of a plane, where this display means is provided, so as to input position information on the display means. SOLUTION: This equipment is composed of a casing 1, a display means 2 such as the display device for displaying information, an input means 3 such as track ball or track pad for inputting the position information on the display means 2, and a button 4. Then, the input means 3 and the button 4 are provided on the plane on the opposite side of the plane where the display means 2 is provided. In this case, the casing 1 is held with one hand and the input means 3 and the button can be operated by the fingers of this same holding hand. Thus, the area of the display means 2 can be extended equal with the size of the front face of the casing 1 and further, the input means 3 can be operated by the hand holding the casing 1.</p> |
