摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly reliable tape tension servo attaining smaller size, a lighter weight and lower power consumption by providing an angle detecting sensor on a tension arm and controlling driving rotational torque of a supply reel. SOLUTION: A supply reel base 5 is rotated via a tape 110 traveled by a capstan. The tension arm 21 is freely oscillatasly supported via a pivot 22, and its tip part is provided with a tape guide 23 for guiding the tape 110 from the side of the supply reel base 5 to the side of a rotary head drum. Moreover, the tension arm 21 is provided with a tension coil spring 26 for elastically energizing this arm in a prescribed direction and the angle detecting sensor 30 for detecting angle of the tension arm 21. The rotation torque of a motor 40 driving the supply reel base 5 is controlled by an output from this angle detecting sensor 30, so that the tape tension on the tape inlet side of the rotary head drum is controlled always constant. Thus, the high reliable tape tension servo is secured, and miniaturization and lower power consumption are attained.</p>
