<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manually set an aperture value and shutter speed without making the use and the constitution of a camera body complicated by transmitting a diaphragm value and exposure time which are manually set to the camera body and performing the exposure control of the camera, based on the aperture value and the exposure time. SOLUTION: In this remote control device, a driver 42 drives an infrared light emitting LED 43 is accordance with an output signal from a CPU 41. Then, the device is provided with switches TRN1SW, TRN2SW, AV1SW and TV1SW turned on/off in response to the operation of an operating member. When an operator sets the aperture scale and the shutter speed value on the remote control device, the AV1SW and the TV1SW are operated and the set result is displayed on an LCD panel 44. When the TRN2SW is turned on, the aperture value and the shutter speed value which are set are respectively converted into specified transmission codes and transmitted. The exposure control of the camera is performed by the camera main body based on the transmitted aperture value and the shutter speed value.</p> |
