PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately regulate quantity of ink according to a required quantity of ink each occasion in various zones, in an ink fountain having an ink fountain roller. SOLUTION: On a moving stage 6, a sensor 20 is fixed. The sensor 20 detects a present state of an ink reservoir 3 in individual areas. When quantity of ink is too small, a signal is issued so as to further store the ink in the ink reservoir 3. A servo motor 24 of a quantity regulating device 23 is controlled in accordance with a control signal of the sensor 20. When the ink in the ink reservoir 3 is too small, a certain fixed quantity 25 of ink is made to fall down on the outer face of the ink fountain roller 4 through a supply opening 19. |
