PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To go up and down the step for going up and down on the part of a person capable of hardly going up and down by himself or herself while a level is being kept horizontal without depending on man-power. SOLUTION: The step for going and down is equipped with a horizontal floor 10 roughly coinciding with the floor surface of a companion way of a passenger airplane, a stair case part 11 which has a plurality of treads 12, and a resting board 14 sufficiently wide to accept wheel chairs and the like, and is mounted to the horizontal floor at its upper end, and with a hydraulic cylinder revolving the stair case part 11 around the upper end in the vertical direction. In this case, the stair case part 11 is formed into a parallel link in such a way that a plurality of the treads and the resting board are kept horizontal at all times. |
