The invention relates to hair clippers (10) with a handle (12), housing an electric motor drive (49) and a cutting head (16) at the front end of the handle, which comprises a stationary blade (18) and a vibrating blade (20) arranged thereabove in the operating position of the handle (12). The stationary and vibrating blades (18, 20) form a cutting plane (22), lying between both blades (18, 20), which is inclined with relation to the longitudinal axis (24) of the handle (12). According to the invention, the cutting plane (22) is inclined downwards with relation to the longitudinal axis (24) of the handle (12) with the handle (12) in the working position thereof, with the vibrating blade (20) arranged above the stationary blade (18), whereby a cutting of hair may be carried out which is comparable with a conventional scissors haircut. |
