INK, INK JET RECORDING USING THE SAME AND INK JET RECORDING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-based ink for ink jet capable of preventing the bleeding and feathering while satisfying prevention of clogging and quick-drying properties and provide both a method for ink jet recording and a recording device. SOLUTION: This water-based ink for ink jet comprises a colorant such as a pigment or a dye and a liquid medium. Furthermore, the ink contains 0.01-3wt.% polyethylene glycol which is a solid at 25 deg.C and has 1-30mPa.s viscosity thereof at 25 deg.C and 28-70mN/m surface tension. The method for ink jet recording and the ink jet recording device use the water-based ink.
