The inflatable seat cushion is made of a flexible air tight material and has communicating chambers (6) formed by separating joints (3), e.g. by welding or adhesives, between the top and bottom surfaces. The joints form creases for folding the cushion. In the inflated state the joints have channels (7) to remove body moisture and provide ventilation.
