<p>PURPOSE:To obtain easily a long-sized molded product which is hard to mold and wide, by a method wherein short-sized molded bodies to be molded with a first press molding die are made long-sized molded bodies by joining them simultaneously with molding of the short-sized molded bodies and a short-sized molded bodies formed with a second press molding die are joined to side ends of the long-sized molded bodies. CONSTITUTION:Simultaneously with press molding of heated short-sized synthetic resin sheets (x) in a state of a flat plate by supplying them to a first press molding die 2 one after another they are joined to one another and flat-platelike long-sized molded bodies X where flat- platelike short-sized molded bodies X1, X2... are connected in a longitudinal direction with each other are obtained, in a first continuous press molding process. Then the long-sized molded bodies X are sent into a side end of a second press molding die 3 intermittently and heated short-sized synthetic resin sheets (y) are press-molded into a state of a hooked sheet by supplying them to the second press molding die 3 one after another, in a second continuous press molding process. Simultaneously with press molding of respective hooked- sheetlike short-sized molded bodies Y1, Y2... they are joined to side ends of the long-sized molded bodies X one after another while they are being joined to one another and a long-sized, wide and odd-shaped product 1 having a long sideways and almost L-shaped section as a whole is manufactured.</p> |
