PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a composite bulky processed yarn at a high speed, excellent in deep dyeing effect, having a suitable bulge and suitable for a yarn for a weaving and a knitting. SOLUTION: This method for producing a composite bulky processed yarn is to use two highly oriented run stretched polyester yarns having 20×10<-3> -80×10<-3> (Δn) birefringence as supplied yarns, and perform a false twist crimping treatment on one of the polyester un stretched yarn 1 by using a fluid rotating nozzle 4 as twist imparting body, setting <=20000 false twisting coefficient and a stretching ratio at a natural stretching ratio or less, also using a non-contacting heater 3 and setting a heater temperature at a melting point +50 deg.C or higher. Another highly oriented un-stretched polyester yarn 6 is heated for a stretching treatment at a stretching ratio so as to make <=40% elongation after the stretching treatment to make an stretched yarn. Then, the stretched yarn is doubled with the above bulky processed yarn and the double yarn is subjected to a fluid injection process at a high speed of >=500m/min.
