<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method capable of preventing toner from being welded on a photoreceptor and coping with high-speed operation and the prolongation of service life. SOLUTION: The strength of rupture in bending in a bending test of toner is 1.37 to 3.43MN/m<2> (140 to 350kgf/cm<2> ), and a latent image holding body 1 is an organic photoreceptor. In a developing area between the holding body 1 and a toner carrier 9 opposed to the holding body 1, voltage to recover the toner from the holding body 1 to the toner carrier 9 and voltage to make the toner fly from the toner carrier 9 to the holding body 1 are impressed on the toner carrier 9 between the holding body 1 and the toner carrier 9 for the time T1 at least once in a developing stage. Thereafter, voltage to make the toner fly to an image part and restore the toner from a non-image part is impressed on the toner carrier 9 for the time T2 , provided that T2 /T1 is >=0.1.</p> |
