PURPOSE:To obtain a toner good in folding resistance, fixable at low temperature, and preventing melt attaching to a photosensitive body and filming during uses for a long period in a high-speed system by using a binder resin specified in molecular weight distribution. CONSTITUTION:The binder resin of the toner has a content of a fraction insoluble in tetrahydrofuran (THF) of <10wt.%, and in the content of a fraction soluble in THF, a fraction w1 having a molecular weight of <=10,000 is 10-50wt.% in the molecular weight distribution measured by the gel permeation chromatography (GPC), and a fraction w2 having a molecular weight of >=500,000wt.% is 5-30wt.% and a w2/w1 ratio is 0.05-2.0. A peak exists in the region of <=10,000mol.wt. by GPC in the fraction soluble in THF, and said fraction has a glass transition point of >=55 deg.C, thus permitting the obtained electrostatic charge image developing toner to be superior in folding resistance and blocking resistance, usable in an atmosphere of high temperature, fixable at low temperature, free from melt attaching to the photosensitive body and filming in a high speed system and during uses for a long period. |
