PURPOSE:To obtain satisfactory electrification performance by preventing toner scatter. CONSTITUTION:A developing device 6 is provided with a toner scatter prevention member 1 which is located on the downstream side of a developing roller 2 from a toner restricting blade 4 and in contact with the developing roller 2. This toner scatter prevention member 1 is fastened to a blade holder 5, to which the toner restricting blade 4 is attached, with a screw together with the blade 4. The toner scatter prevention member 1, near to its front end, is arbitrarily curved by the curved front-end of the blade holder 5 and is in contact with the developing roller 2 on its tangent. Thus, toner scatter can be prevented without disturbing a thin layer of toner on the developing roller 2. |
