<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a configuration and to reduce a manufacture cost by sequentially matching two hand brake holder onto a stepped boss. SOLUTION: A tape tension adjustment device includes a tension lever 110, an upper and lower hand brake holder, and a hand brake 122. The tension lever 110 is fixed onto a deck through a hinge pin 116 freely turnably. When a tape running speed at the winding reel table is faster than the speed of a supply reel tape 125 for write or reproduction, a tape tension of the tape 125 is increased and the tension lever 110 is turned clockwise to reduce braking so as to keep the tape tension constant. On the other hand, when the tape running speed at the winding reel table side is slower than the speed of the supply reel table 125, the tape tension of the table 125 is reduced and the lever 110 is turned counter clockwise, the brake torque is increased to keep the tape tension constant.</p> |
