LIGHT GUIDE PLATE UNIT FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate unit for the liquid crystal display which can have a luminance distribution made uniform on the surface of a liquid crystal module and is easily manufactured by printing a light absorbing film one or both of a reflecting sheet surface part and a diffusion sheet surface part coming into contact with one edge end part of a light guide plate on one end side. SOLUTION: The wedgelike light guide plate becomes thinner from one end 111 to the other end 112. The reflecting sheet is brought into contact with the reverse surface of the light guide plate, and the light absorbing film in a chain line shape having an arcuate projection tip is printed by a rotary press relief printing method and a reflecting sheet surface part contacting the remaining edge end parts in three directions of the light guide plate is printed by the rotary press relief printing method while decreased in diameter with the distance from the light guide plate. Further, a light absorbing film is printed on the reflecting surface part 121 brought into contact with one edge end part on one end side of the light guide plate, but the light absorbing film can be printed on the diffusion sheet surface part 131 brought into contact with one edge end part on one end side of the light guide plate instead.
