PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fixing device excellent in releasing property to a toner and the transporting property of a paper by providing a covering layer, in which a tetrafluoro ethylene resin and a fluoro-rubber is blended, on a fixing roller. SOLUTION: The fixing roller 52 is formed by covering the outer surface of a thin aluminum made metallic cylindrical body with a synthetic resin material (the covering layer) 52s and inserting a heater lamp 55 into an axial center part. And in the covering layer 52s, the tetrafluoroethylene resin and the fluoro- rubber are blended. As a result, the sufficient transporting property of a recording material (the paper) and the releasing property to the toner are attained. And the covering layer 2, in which the tetrafluoroethylene resin and the fluoro- rubber are blended, is formed by baking at 340-380 deg.C for >=20min. As a result, the covering layer 52s of the fixing roller 52 is produced so as to attain the stable releasing property to the toner and the sufficient wear resistance. |
