PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a paste material simply and correctly with necessary timing by a method in which after a cartridge being set to a cartridge setting means, a carriage is moved to the position of a paste material suction means, and the paste material is packed in a paste container from the cartridge. SOLUTION: A cartridge is constituted by attaching a cartridge in which a paste material used by a paste cap action is stored to a diluting liquid cartridge. First, in ink cartridges 2A-2D, ink of each color is stored by a cartridge in which ink of respectively different colors is stored. Besides, diluting liquid and a paste material which is a head maintenance material are stored respectively in a diluting liquid receiving part 3A and a paste material receiving part 3B in a diluting liquid-paste material cartridge 3 which is constituted integrally. |
