PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a start timing of the image forming in a low cost structure in an image forming device that forms an image by scanning a light modulated in accordance with an image signal on a rotational photosensitive body. SOLUTION: A high frequency clock 8fo (fo=fr) of which frequency is n times of (n is an integer number which is >=2, n=8 in this embodiment) an oscillation output fr of a reference oscillator, is generated by a PLL circuit 39. Dividers 35, 36 generates an image processing clock PCLK of which frequency is roughly the same as the frequency (=fo) of the output fr in synchronism with the high frequency clock 8fo and the detection signal from a scanning light detection means in accordance with a synchronization signal HD. Image data VDO (0...3) is modulated by a latch circuit 37 and a parallel/serial conversion circuit 38 based on the high frequency clock 8fo to generate an image modulation signal PVDO. |
