PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the ink fixing of an initial cooling cylinder by increasing the diameter of the cylinder in the first contact with a dried matter to be printed of a plurality of cooling cylinders provided at a cooler larger than the other cooling cylinder. SOLUTION: In the offset rotary press, the diameter of a cooling cylinder in initial contact with dried matter to be printed of a plurality of cooling cylinders provided at a cooler is set larger than the other cooling cylinder. As a result, the temperature becomes about 70 deg.C while the matter to be printed is brought into contact with the initial cooling cylinder, the ink is fixed, thereby making it possible to prevent reticulation. Specifically, the diameter of the first cooling cylinder 7 in contact with the matter 8 to be printed is set about 2.5 times as large as those of second to fourth cooling cylinders 7. The diameter of the first cylinder is suitably 600 to 1,000mm in view of the space and cost. |
