In the microwave oven used as a hood, if a predetermined temperature is reached, the sensed signal by means of a sensing switch(80) is transmitted to a microcomputer(M), and an exhaust motor(40) is driven in accordance with the control signal of the microcomputer(M). The deflector forward/reverse moving device in the microwave oven used as the hood includes: a plate(10) forming an inlet/outlet hole(14) in a horizontal direction on a folding portion of the front surface thereof; a pair of guides(20) fixed by means of a screw on the plate(10) and having a guide groove(22) on the one side guide, the guide groove(22) having a hole(24) on the one side thereof; a deflector switch(30) having a protrusion(32) inserted into the hole(24) and installed on the guide(20) by the insertion of the protrusion(32); a deflector(50) having forward/reverse grooves(52a,52b) on the one side thereof, turning on/off the deflector switch(30), and forming a gear(54) on the back surface thereof; and a deflector motor(60) activated together with the exhaust motor(40).
