<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject apparatus capable of preventing ozone from remaining in the interior of a refrigerator, etc., after stopping the operation thereof by installing a delayed stopping mechanism capable of stopping a fan after stopping an ozonizing means when the operation of the apparatus is stopped. SOLUTION: This apparatus for retaining the freshness is capable of initially operating an ozonizing means 6 and a fan 3, thereby sucking environmental air in a closed space such as the interior of a refrigerator 4 from an air suction port 5 into a casing unit 1, successively passing the air through an ozone decomposing means 7 and the ozonizing means 6 and then blowing off the circulating air together with the generated ozone from an air blowoff port 2 by actions of the fan 3. The apparatus is further equipped with a delayed stopping mechanism 10 for stopping the fan 3 after stopping the ozonizing means 6 when stopping the operation of the apparatus to operate the fan 3 for a short time even after stopping the ozonizing means 6. Since environmental air is thereby passed through the ozone decomposing means 7 for a prescribed time, ozone remaining in the air in the interior of the refrigerator 4 is decomposed.</p> |
