PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer sidewall which is as rigid as possible for the printer of a sheet rotary press which can be assembled in one row structure type with a plurality of printers. SOLUTION: The torsional resistant rigid sidewall body has at least a box type and one-side open sectional profile with a frame 5 extended substantially perpendicularly to the sidewall face in the lower structure area 4 where a bearing for a body for guiding a sheet and a bearing for the gear of a drive gear train are disposed, and an opening 7 provided in the frame 5 that the gear of the train passes therethrough. A cover plate 8 for reinforcing the rigidity of the body, i.e., a cover plate 8 with a rib at the inside preferably made of cast iron or steel is disposed at the open side of the profile of the body. |
