PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable continuous heating of food products in a shortened time at low costs. SOLUTION: Food products F are dipped in hot water W in the hot water vessel 1. Thus, the food products F are heated from their outer layer by hot water and the outer part of the food products becomes relatively harder than the inner part. Under these conditions, the food products F are conveyed in the hot water vessel 1 and energized with the electric power applied between the electrodes 11 and 12. Thus, the food products F are rapidly heated from the outside by the hot water W and from the inside mainly by Joule's heat. |
