In the proposed motor vehicle, the engine operates in an optimal low-variation mode thanks to the presence of a regulator which adjusts parameters and the law of motion of the engine's output member (99); said regulator takes the form of a hinge-lever system (102, 101, 100) which ensures a smooth change of ratio of the arm of the drive lever (101, 102) or of its trajectory of motion; and thanks to a screw converter in which, during transformation of the engine thrust, force adjustment of the transmission ratio is effected, the rotation speed and torque being altered to produce the required acceleration. The screw converter connected to the recuperative energy source (129, 130) and a brake system are used to effect recuperative and/or operational braking from a single control unit. Automatic acquisition of free travel with increasing rotation speed of the driving wheels (121, 122) when turning and regulation of the speed from zero with a kinematic link between engine and transmission dispenses with the need for a differential and clutch. Use of a lever-screw transmission allows the use of any existing type of engine. The proposed method of effecting a continuously variable wheel rotation and recovery of the motion significantly reduces energy consumption. |
