Phase reversing stage arrangement for multi=channel amplifier

All channels have to amplify similar signals and load the positive and then the negative side of the power pack alternately. Each side is loaded while the other is unloaded and vice versa, so that there is a voltage fall, during the application of the load, in the voltage supply, while the voltage remains constant when there is no load. The voltage symmetry during a burst of a music signal is consequently disturbed. Usually this is compensated for by the use of very high value electrolytic capacitors in the power pack, increasing the cost. With this innovation, most power is required for the low-frequency sounds, so that the capacitors can be of lower value than before.
