MODULE FOR THE DESACTIVATION OF CHROMATES IN DILUTED SOLUTIONS

The module is used in the treatment of industrial waste waters, especially of chromiun-containing waste solutions from galvanic manufactures. It continuously desactivates the flow diluted chromatic solution based on the electrochemical dissolution of iron anodes. The module consists of a reaction chamber (1) housing an electrode system (4). A collection box (2) with inclined bottom is fitted under the chamber having a hole (7) in its lowers part connection to a mixing chamber (3). A spillway (8) with a pipe connection to the manifold for collect waters is fitted in the upper end of the mixing chamber (3), and a discharge pipe connection with a valve (9) is fitted in its lowest part.
