PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce a skirt part and to improve durability by tying up binding thread composed of the spun yarn of a polyvinylalcohol resin for at least three times to the shaft part of the feathers of the skirt part, performing fixation by imparting an adhesive material including a nitrocellulose resin to the surface of the binding thread and turning the weight of the entire shuttlecock to a specified range. SOLUTION: The 14-16 pieces of the feathers 6 of a goose for instance are circularly planted on a cork base inside a tip part 1 and the feathers 6 are formed from the shaft part 4 and a feather part 5. Also, the binding thread 7 is tied up for more than three times to the shaft part 4 and adhesive material resin is imparted around it. The binding thread composed of the spun yarn of the polyvinylalcohol resin is tied up at a part from the base of the shaft part 4 of the feathers of the skirt part 8 to the part where the distance from there is 26mm for at least three times, the fixation is performed by imparting the adhesive material including the nitrocellulose resin to the surface of the binding thread and the shaft part, and the entire weight is turned to the range of 4.73-5.50g. |
