PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method with which the form of a key pad can be designed compact easily, by examining the form and the click characteristic of the key pad compact. SOLUTION: At first, the form of a key pad compact made in a data is input. Then, the material parameter of an elastic substance to be the raw material of the key pad compact is input. After that, the lower bottom part of the key pad compact is restricted in the horizontal and the vertical directions. Then, a border condition to give a displacement in the downward vertical direction to the upper surface of the key pad compact is input. After that, the total sum of the reactions to a certain displacement is calculated. Then, a curve which consists of the displacement amount of the upper surface of the key pad compact, and the total sum of the reactions is displaced. After that, it is examined whether this curve is within a preset tolerable range or not. Then, when the curve obtained in this processing cource is within the preset tolarable range, the input form is converted by a preset condition, and the processing from the first is repeated. |
