FIELD: thermal engineering. SUBSTANCE: high-temperature electrochemical transducer performs regenerative heating of its chemical agents to working temperature using outlet flow. Flow integration facilities convey heat from electrochemical transducer assembly to heat-consuming power unit. When running as fuel cell, for example, it easily recovers waste heat of its reagents to be combined with thermodynamic consuming device such as gas or steam turbine. Heat flow integration provides for effective radiant heat transfer between external surface of transducer assembly and heat exchanger assembly containing working medium of heat absorber or heat source as well as for use of regenerative process in which outlet flow heats up inlet reagent to working temperature of transducer. EFFECT: improved flexibility and effectiveness of design. |
