The rifle has a barrel (2), in the end of which the syringe fits, on a stock. It also comprises a union (3) for the compressed gas and a trigger (4) releasing the gas to the syringe. One or more ribs (50) hold the support (5) clear of the stock. The rib length allows to bring the barrel to eye level when aiming. The trigger is mounted on the end of the handle (7), which is in front of the support, and extends horizontally or gently upwards. The sight (10) is on the side of the barrel. A pressure gauge (9) can be mounted at the bend in the handle, and the sight can be telescopic. The union can be in front of the gauge on the handle, while a pressure pipe (11) in the stock leads to the barrel breech end. The syringe can be connected to a pressure chamber.
