Image presentation system using television camera

The presentation system uses a television camera (24) for providing a video image of a required image region, with the visible light beams directed on to a defined position within this region, for illuminating the region, via a high power LED light source (40A). The light source may be operated for a timed duration, or intermittently, and is positioned adjacent the television camera so that their optical axes are approximately the same.
