<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous ink composition containing a coloring material, water and a specific benzyl ether compound, good in drying resistance, without showing a blot or a blur, and useful for a writing tool, a stamp, a recorder, etc. SOLUTION: This ink composition contains (A) a coloring material, (B) water and (C) a benzyl ether of the formula [(n) is an integer of >=1]. As the component (C), e.g. 4,4'-bis(hydroxymethyl) dibenzyl ether, 4,4"-bis(hydroxymethyl) tribenzyl ether, etc., are cited. Further, the using amounts of the components are preferably 0.1-40.0wt.% component (A) and 0.01-10.0wt.% component (C), more preferably 0.1-5.0wt.%.</p> |
