PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop no bank at manufacturing and heighten surface gloss by a method wherein a sheet or film is introduced between a mirror-finished cooling roll and a metal endless belt so as to be moved between the roll and the belt under the state that the sheet or film is brought into contact with the outer periphery of the cooling roll in order to be cooled. SOLUTION: A sheet or film 3 is introduced between a cooling roll 4, the surface of which is mirror-finished, and a metal endless belt 5, the surface of which is mirror-finished, so as to move and cool under the condition that the introduced sheet or film 3 is brought into contact with the outer periphery of the cooling roll 4 between the cooling roll 4 and the metal endless belt 5. Further, since if the sheet or film 3 first contacts either one of the cooling roll 4 and the metal endless belt 5 at this introduction, a wrinkle tends to develop in the sheet or film 3, the introduction is preferably performed at the intermediate part, at which the cooling roll 4 and the metal endless belt 5 contact with each other. |
