<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an edge drop to a minimum without any affecting to tensile force distribution by arranging one more injecting beam on both edges of a roll barrel having an injecting beam and extending the working area to the strip edge part. SOLUTION: The injecting beam 3, 3a for coolant and lubricant are arranged at an entry side of a roll stand 1 rolling a strip 2 and injecting medium is supplied from a tank 5 through a pump 4. Further, one more injecting beams 6, 6a are directed toward roll barrel end area. The injecting medium is supplied form the tank 5 through a pump 7. This injecting medium is supplied passing through a cooling device. This cooling device 8 regulates a coolant temperature to an optimum value by temperature regulating device 9 corresponding tot a given value in advance. Also, injecting width of the other injecting beams 6, 6a and strength of injecting material are regulated passing through valve 10.</p> |
