PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a transaction, for which the input of personal identification code or an ID card itself is unnecessitated, when using an automatic teller machine(ATM). SOLUTION: This automatic transaction system is constituted by connecting an ATM 1 which can sample the iris data of customer, window equipment 2 which can sample the iris data of customer over the counter, and host computer 8 for storing and managing customer information through a communication line 7 and during the transaction, the iris data are sampled and registered by operating the ATM 1. Besides, over the counter, the iris data are acquired and registered in a storage device 9 by the window equipment 2 corresponding to the operation of clerk. |
