The tilting roller drive has a chain rail (1) with a changeable bicycle chain part. The angle is levelled out by thickening the chain rail towards its rear end (8) by three quarters of the height of the engaging tooth (7) of the gear wheel on the drive wheel. This results in a uniform pressure of the pressure roller (6) over the entire running sector on the chain rail. The driven chain rail does not lift off under pressure, and the teeth of the drive hear wheel cannot slip or be torn off.
