<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure excellent strength against the bending moment in a connecting part even when a fire hydrant is connected to a fire hydrant cheese by arranging a support member across a plurality of supporting columns stood on a base plate just below a branch joint and supporting a connecting flange by means of the support member. SOLUTION: On the upper face of a base plate 3, a fire hydrant cheese fitting groove 31 is formed, and bolts (supporting columns) 4, 4 are stood in one end part and the other end part of the groove 31. The base plate 3 is fixed on the ground, and the lower face of a fire hydrant tee 1 is fitted in the groove 31 on the base plate 3. Support members 5, 5 are arranged between the supporting columns across respective main pipe joint receiving ports 11, 11 in the fire hydrant cheese 1. A flange 61 in the lower end of the fire hydrant 6 and a flange 121 on the fire hydrant tee 1 side are fastened together by means of bolts 62. In this way, the base plate 3 is fixed on the ground, and the fire hydrant tee 1 and a main pipe 2 are connected to each other while the lower end face of the fire hydrant tee 1 is fitted in the groove 31 on the base plate 3.</p> |
