PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent submergence by erecting a waterproofing gate on the ground of an underground pit to house a pallet for placing a vehicle, and preventing the entry of rainwater from the ground to the tip. SOLUTION: A waterproofing gate 8 is installed between support pillars erected on the ground 5 near four corners of a pit 1, when rainwater M flows down along the ground 5. As a result, the gate 8 prevents the travel of the rainwater M flowing toward the pit 1 and the entry thereof from the ground 5 to the pit 1 is prevented consequently. Thus, a large amount of the rainwater M does not flow into the pit 1, even when a localized torrential downpour beyond expectation takes place. In this case, the rainwater M can be easily discharged by use of a normal small drainage pump, and a vehicle or the like in the pit 1 is protected against the submergence. At the same time, rubbish or the like does not flow into the pit 1, together with the rainwater M, and the pit 1 becomes free from contamination. As a result, the entry of the rainwater M or rubbish to the pit 1 can be prevented, and the stain of a vehicle can be as well prevented. Also, the access of a child or a cat to a parking facility can be prevented. |
